About George

George P. Brooks is a writer, author, nonprofit founder, political and cultural commentator, ordained minister, mental health and fatherhood advocate, and public speaker whose work explores the intersection of conservatism, culture, faith, personal responsibility, philosophy, race, masculinity, and the lived experiences of Black Americans.

George is a contributor to American Thinker and the author of The Metta Papers: Writings for No One and Everyone. His writing combines cultural criticism, political analysis, philosophy, personal experience, and an unapologetically conservative perspective.

Rather than viewing conservatism solely through the lens of partisan politics, George frequently examines it as a broader framework built around individual agency, family, faith, discipline, personal responsibility, constitutional principles, and cultural stability.

George is also the founder and former CEO of the Metta Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2018 with a particular emphasis on men’s mental health, fatherhood, advocacy, community engagement, and helping underserved populations.
