About Cherlene

Cherlene Prince comes from a patriotic conservative family with a long tradition of military service to the United States. Her family’s service stretches back generations, including an ancestor who served as a Life Guard to President George Washington.

Her grandfather served in the U.S. Navy during World War I and World War II, her father served during the Vietnam War, and her uncle retired as a Major in the U.S. Army after also serving in Vietnam.

Cherlene continued that tradition herself, serving as a 92R Parachute Rigger with the 128th Quartermaster Company (Light Airdrop Supply) of the California Army National Guard — an airborne-qualified unit responsible for delivering critical supplies to remote areas by parachute.

She later became a military spouse to an 82nd Airborne Division paratrooper and remained deeply involved in the military community. Her professional work included military transition assistance and helping develop the USAA Military Transitions Center of Excellence, while supporting military events and service members at installations across the country.

Her experiences in military life, public service, advocacy, and community involvement strengthened her belief that Americans can disagree while still finding common ground through shared values, family, service, and love of country.

In 2026, Cherlene founded the US Common Ground Project, a growing social media initiative created to encourage Americans from different backgrounds to share their cultures, values, families, and experiences while rebuilding unity in an increasingly divided country.

Cherlene is also active in conservative grassroots politics and voter engagement in her community. She promotes the MAGA movement, attends Republican events and conventions when possible, advocates for election integrity, and supports President Donald Trump.

Her advocacy extends beyond politics. Cherlene has formal training related to PTSD affecting military combat veterans and has spoken publicly about mental health issues impacting Americans and their families. She also works to amplify victim advocacy stories and challenge misinformation surrounding political issues, public figures, and conservative creators.

A mother of six adult children and grandmother of thirteen, Cherlene’s mission is rooted in service, family, truth, accountability, and bringing Americans together.

“The soldier, above all other people, prays for peace, for he must suffer and bear the deepest wounds and scars of war.”
