A Life of Service Preserved: Illinois Honors Volunteer Firefighter Steve Slemer

A third-generation Illinois volunteer firefighter who helped save a driver trapped in a water-filled vehicle will be honored in a permanent exhibit preserving 125 years of hometown fire-service history.
